We're seeking a Quality Engineer with a strong background in test automation, API testing, and modern QA practices to join a high-performing technology organization at a major investment firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building scalable automation frameworks, improving software quality, and collaborating closely with Agile development teams throughout the SDLC.
You'll play a key role in developing automated testing solutions, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, validating cloud-based applications, and ensuring high-quality software releases across enterprise platforms.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Java, and Playwright
- Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing
- Perform smoke, functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Develop quality management plans and sprint/release test strategies
- Partner with Product Owners and Developers to ensure business requirements are fully testable
- Create and maintain test cases, traceability matrices, defects, and QA documentation
- Lead defect triage sessions and collaborate with development teams through issue resolution
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Participate in non-functional testing efforts including performance, security, and accessibility
- Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing best practices
- Collaborate across multiple Agile Scrum teams to ensure successful product delivery
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3–5+ years of Quality Engineering / Software Testing experience
- Strong experience with:
- Selenium
- Cucumber
- Java
- Playwright
- REST API Automation
- Experience testing web and mobile applications
- Strong understanding of backend automation testing
- Experience testing cloud-based microservices
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong SQL skills and experience validating backend data
- Experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
