Key Responsibilities
User Acceptance Testing & Quality Assurance
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) events to validate business requirements prior to project go-live.
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive UAT test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation.
- Perform positive and negative testing to identify defects and validate corrective actions before implementation.
- Ensure adherence to standard UAT quality assurance methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Conduct test execution, defect tracking, issue resolution follow-up, and status reporting activities.
Collaboration & Project Support
- Work closely with IT, CORE, Claims teams, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and solution designs.
- Participate in data mining sessions and review forums to analyze business processes and project objectives.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, mitigation plans, and action items related to UAT activities.
Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as a Claims Operations systems subject matter expert (SME).
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of system functionality and operational processes across the department.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing standards and operational efficiency.
Additional Duties
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Claims Quality Manager or Claims Quality Director.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree OR 8+ years of related work experience post-high school.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in:
- Information technology quality assurance
- Systems/application testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Technical & Functional Skills
- Test plans
- Test cases
- Test procedures
- Test scripts
- Unit testing
- Integration testing
- System testing
Industry Knowledge
- Knowledge of:
- Medical care systems
